Linda Holloway, 2008 Ms Colorado Senior America, represented Colorado at the Ms Senior America Pageant in Atlantic City and was among the Top Ten Finalists.
Linda co-founded and co-directs a nonprofit organization, Bessie’s Hope, formerly known as Rainbow Bridge. It is a living legacy to her grandmother. The mission is to enhance the quality of life for nursing home elders and to bring generations together in mutually rewarding relationships. Each year, several thousand volunteers of all ages and several thousand elders are impacted by this life-transforming work. In addition to the elders, these programs are especially beneficial to “at-risk” youth.
